International Events

During the most of our events (around 50 per year), Local Committees are offering companies to advertise themselves. These advertisements are not only through distribution of promotional material, but also through lectures and presentations given to our participants. Companies are always welcome to present their professional achievements and/or educate our members about the fields of their mutual interest.

That way, participants of LC Skopje events are educated about different sub-fields of Power Energetic. They have unique chance to visit the biggest power plant in Skopje, talk to their managers an engineers and see the process of producing electrical energy that powers up whole country.

The main sponsor and partner of every LC Munich event is Texas Instruments. Participants have a chance to see the amazing work process in this company and take a lecture from their managers on "Sales and Marketing" topic. During a tour through the company, managers are interviewing all participants interested in internships and career opportunities in Texas Instruments and in the past years about 10 of them were selected.

For a few events in a row, Skype, a leading VOIP software provider, is a gold sponsor of LC Tallinn. Beside a tour through the company and internships interviews, every participant receives a gift from them - a voucher for Skype phone calls.

In cooperation with different international software companies, such as TopCoder (USA), Fornex (Hungary) or Troxo (Sweden), our Local Committees are organizing programming contests on their faculties. The winners are becoming the owners of valuable prizes, internships and jobs in the organizing companies.

In the official program of LC Budapest events, that takes place at the office of Oracle Hungary, students can learn about Oracle’s latest technologies. They have lectures about Business Intelligence and have to solve a team task and make a presentation about their work. The task is to learn about and to compare the technological innovations of the world and the company from back to 1977 to present date. Also, Oracle certificates are given to every participant.
