Open day is the event where the EESTEC vision for Students, Companies and Universities becomes real. It consists of a triangular fair held during congress, where the components of this triplet find each other

EESTEC
Open Day is
the project we are currently working on, which aims to bring three
inseparable parties of our studies: Students; Universities;
Companies. The event will happen on 23rd of March 2009, in Belgrade (Serbia), during 23rd EESTEC Annual Congress where around 150
EESTEC members all over the Europe will c
ome together. Besides the
delegates of Local Committees, students studying in University of
Belgrade will be participating in this distinguished event, as well.
During the event;
- Student organisations of different study fields (such as; BEST - Board of European Students of Technology, EUROAVIA - European Aerospace Engineering Students Association, ESTIEM - European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management, IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, AEGEE - European Students` Forum, etc.) as well as the EESTEC Local Committees will be invited to present their activities and projects.
- Universities will get the chance to present their master, PhD, scholarship, research programs
- Companies will have the opportunity to present their activities, job and internship opportunities, projects and programs through the following means:
SERVICES
1 Chill-out Corners: During all day representatives of every company will be situated in one room. Each company will be given their own space which they will be able to arrange as they want. We will provide tall chairs and bar tables for each company, but if there are any additional requests (such as video screen or similar) we will try to fulfill them. Purpose of chill-out corner is to give students an opportunity to get in touch with companies in relaxed and more informal atmosphere.

Brochures: Brochures
will be distributed to international and local students and to other
companies participating on "Open day". Every participating company will have one page which can be designed as company desire
or, if not, w
e can propose a template (logo and some basic
information about company) for that page. If a company wants one
extra page in brochure additional fee will be required.
3 Promotional Materials: If a company have their own promotional material such as brochures, fliers, it can be distributed to international and local students and to other companies participating on "Open day" in the official bag which will contain "Open day" brochure and other promotional material.
4 Separate Sessions: Separate session will last for 45 minutes. Company that decide to take a special session will have an opportunity to make a presentation about themselves and their specific projects which they consider interesting to students. Sessions will be held in classrooms which are equipped with all necessary equipment (video projectors, speakers etc.) and can accept up to 70 persons.
