Open Day

EESTEC Open Day is the name of a very 
distinguished event of EESTEC international, which is organised during annual EESTEC Congress for one day. EESTEC Open Day was firstly organised during the Congress in Belgrade in 2009, and after huge success and positive feedback from participating industry and academic representatives, it was decided to be switched into a regular annual event as a part of annual Congress.

Basically, Open Day can be counted as a "fair" where there are booths for participanting companies, universities, EESTEC local committees and international Board, and every representative are free to visit each other booths for information exchange about any idea or opportunity. It is an off-the-chart event to strengthen the relationships between students, universities and companies, to fill in the gap of lack of communication for every side who is a part of the event. This fair is open to all EESTEC Congress participants which are more than 100, coming from different faculties of Europe, as well as the local students who are eager to learn about career and academic opportunities.

Besides that, during Open Day, depending on their requests, there are presentations and debates going on throughout the day, to give more insight knowledge about academy and industry to students and discuss about actual topics in Europe, such as Electrical Energy Independence of Europe or Bologna System in higher education.

Consequently, EESTEC Open Day has become an official EESTEC Brand and will serve to improve the relationships between students, universities and companies even more in the future.
