Profile

Dear Reader,

my name is Evelin Kiss, I was born in the year of 1987. My hometown is Gyöngyös, where I spent 18 years of my 22.

On the field of Electrical Engineering I study Power Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, this is my fifth year.

In the machinery of EESTEC I started to be a chain-link in the beginning of 2008. This was the first time I travelled abroad to a workshop, which was organized by LC Athens. The topic of this event was very close to my studies and I could spend one week with a lot of foreign, unknown, but absolutely familiar people. The experiences and the memories I have from this event made me motivated to work and to be one of the members of the whole Association. From October 2008 I am spending my mandate in EESTEC LC Budapest as a chairwoman, and luckily I can tell, this LC is the best ever.

The International level came into my life in November 2008, when I was taking part in our EESTEC Chairpersons' Meeting in Tallinn. After this event, EESTEC has started to become the part of my daily round. In March 2009, when I was participating in the annual Congress and I was elected as the Treasurer of EESTEC International for 2009-2010 the challenge was in front of me.

As treasurer the main thing in EESTEC International for me is to provide a beneficial and co-operational background for the LCs and for EESTEC during its functioning considering the short- and long-term plans in the way of expressing our quality for all other organizations.

What I need to do during this year is:

·         To handle that what EESTEC and its financial needs mean, and the needs of LCs.

·         To be able to keep connection with companies, whit whom we have a cooperation.

·         To show our real quality for the new and keep our good impression on the known organizations.

Smile at the world and the world will smile back at you ;)

Evelin
