Profile

I am Emine CAN, was born in Balıkesir, Turkey in 1986. I am graduated from Hacettepe University department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

In my third year one of my highschool friend from Eskisehir asked me for a logo design. I had no idea about EESTEC when I finished the design for the workshop of LC Eskişehir. Thanks to him I found myself involved in this amazing association. I became a member of LC Ankara as a PR Responsible. I was in design team of EESTEC International then I became Board-Assistant of VC-PA. In year 2008-2009 I was the coordinator of the EESTEC Design Team. With the creative members we had done great works to make EESTEC look more professional.

In the Congress 2009 in Belgrade I was suprised, it was not hard to me to introduce myself because nearly everybody knows me with my design works, although that was my first abroad event! The spirit there made me believe that I could be the new VC-PA and I was elected.

This year P&A Team will create their best to improve the quality of EESTEC! It is not just the improvement of EESTEC Magazine and Yearbook, it will go in deep, each PR material of every committee will reflect the appealing EESTEC Brand. We are in an interactive world with the improvement of social media in the internet. EESTEC will continue to reach possible members with being where they are, being interactive.

Everyone looks external appearance first, that is why we work for EESTEC branding. I am confident we will use innovation and creatvity to make EESTEC unique in publications, indeed I can dare to be different.
