Dear EESTECers,
For the first time in France, JLC Lille is proud to announce you its EESTEC workshop: R.I.S !
The environmental awareness and the need of more efficiency led to develop more advanced technologies. Mandatory in all sectors of industry, intelligent autonomous systems are the key to growth of all technology focused companies. This has not only an effect on our environment, but also on our attitude. Whether in transportation, work tools or communication, they've became part of our every day life.
Through this event, we’ll try to gather students around the theme of technical and technological innovation, and its social and environmental impacts. Participants will attend theoretical presentations from scientists working in the field. They will also be visiting firms and laboratories in different sectors of intelligent systems.
We will likewise organize two contests : The Software tournament, and the Robotics tournament in which each participant will be teaming up with a French student.
RIS will bring a greater effectiveness to the knowledge and the training of the participants, giving them the chance to be in direct contact with the Department of Research in Robotics field.
At last, but not the least, we'll make sure you have a great time in Lille! You'll have the opportunity to explore the best spots of the city during the City Rally, discover its charming atmosphere during day and night and try tasty French food and drinks!
