EESTEC Congress 2012

Dear EESTECers,

We are very glad to officially announce Congress 2012 registration period. From now and till 29 January all LCs, JLCs and Observers have a chance to register their representative for Congress which will take place from 29th of March till 6th of April in Tallinn and Riga, Estonia and Latvia respectively (First 4 days will be in Tallinn and rest 4  days in Riga).

Each LC, JLC and Observer have a right for at least one place on Congress. If you do not register your representative till the deadline, Int. Board will assign place for your LC to BAs, Trainers, IT members and other international teams.

Please do not miss the deadline 29 January for your registration!
 

What kind of participants are expected at the Congress?

It’s totally up to the LC/JLC/Observer to decide who you want to send on Congress as your official representatives. Int. Board will not interfere in your decision.

What do we expect from participants during Congress?

We expect that every LC has at least one representative during every General Assembly (GA) sessions. It is inexcusable to miss any GA since we are going to have discussion on very important topics for EESTEC such as:

• EESTEC projects
• Board and Bodies report
• Promotion and degradation of LCs and JLCs
• RoP changing
• Election of the new International Board

This year we will also have Open Day as part of Congress 2012. Open Day can be counted as a "fair" where there are booths for participating companies, universities, EESTEC local committees and international Board, and every representative are free to visit each others’ booths for information exchange about any idea or opportunity.

What do you need to bring for Open Day?

Every LC representative should bring on Congress:

• Informational materials of your University-Faculty (this is most important)
• Informational materials of your LC (also very important)
• Promo materials of your LC activities (posters, flyers, bookmarks...)  
• LC flag (only if you have one, don't need to make if you don't have)
• Prepare ınformational (at least 1 page) documents or presentation/slides which includes:
• Your recruitment Strategy (how you get new members every year)
• What makes your LC successful? (your successful projects, activities...)
• How you keep motivations of your members? (motivation strategies, tips and tricks)

To sum up and again the most important, don’t miss deadline for registration, 29 January, since after that deadline, International Board will give your places to Bodies.
