Merhaba EESTEC ! Merhaba Europe !

I am officially Huseyin OZCAN but as many EESTECers call me, I am Husam. I was born in 1987 and  I study Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Ankara, Turkey and I hope to get my B.S degree in June and pursue master degree in Germany.

It was August of 2006 when I got to know EESTEC in IEEE Turkey Student Branches Congress...It was mentioned that EESTEC LC Ankara is newly being founded and need supporters and an inner voice from me was telling me that this is for me! Afterwards, in a silent cafe on a sunny September day, I met Tagi face to face and the journey started...After that moment, EESTEC drug was running through my veins and a cure to remove it is still not found.

EESTEC is the platform where we share many things with the people who have the similar goals and visions about life. This platform gives us the unique chance to learn, teach, share and communicate in an international environment. Thanks to EESTEC, we obtain many chances to improve our soft skills and our capabilities for our profession whereas we also have the opportunity to know ourselves. While working in EESTEC both in local and international level, we prepare ourselves for the wild life after graduation and that’s why we will start the journey after graduation one step forward from our colleagues.

Through my mandate, I will try to contribute to EESTEC as much as I can, and obviously it is every EESTECer’s duty to make something for carrying EESTEC one step forward, therefore by here, I would like to say that any help, feedback, comment from any EESTECer is encouraged and more than welcome.

So...put your hands up for EESTEC ! I love this union !
