Description

Dear EESTECers, Don’t you want to live in a city that cares and protects you and your life? Our workshop’s topic, as you can guess from the name, is Smart Cities. In this workshop you will receive several different trainings related to how to use an Arduino Board. Are you worried about your programming skills? There is nothing to worry about, we got you covered! You will have a session that will teach you basic programming. Then you and your team members will design the dream city, which receives and transfers datas using internet. Finally you'll create a smart parking area where cars will understand which spot is available and will park automaticly, protecting the lives of you and everyone around you. But that’s not all. You’ll have the chance to see and explore Ankara, Turkey’s capital, visit historical places like Ankara Castle, Anıtkabir Mausoleum and Kocatepe Mosque. Of course there will be city rally in which you will get to know the city and solve many interesting tasks. During this week we’ll take you to the famous Turkish Bath where all the stress goes away and then end the day with Fasıl (Turkish night) where we’ll drink Rakı, listen Turkish music and dance with the belly dancer. We should also mention that you will have several occasions to taste great Turkish cuisine and enjoy Turkish culture. Speaking of enjoying the culture, we should also mention the nightlife. One night we’ll have a theme party, another night International night and on the other nights we’ll go to Kızılay Square and Tunalı, most popular parts of Ankara, full of nightclubs. So apply now to have an amazing week full of EESTEC spirit with LC Ankara. Hope to see you all here!
